Greetings!

With the implementation of Township Battles, this is a breakdown on how this system works.

Registering:
Each Township Battle requires the guild master to register their guild for the battle. Registration begins 2 hours before the Township Battle and lasts 1 hour. After the registration period, there is another hour of Standby which allows guilds to prepare for the battle. After the Standby period, the battle commences and lasts for 1 hour.

Times and Types:
Major Township Battle:
Major Township Battles are held on Saturdays.
Registration Period - 11AM PDT ~ 12PM PDT
Standby Period - 12PM PDT ~ 1PM PDT
Battle - 1PM PDT ~ 2PM PDT
Requirements - Guild Master must register for the battle. The minimum level requirement to enter is level 30. At least 30 members must be online and over level 30 in order for the Guild Master to register their guild.

Rewards - The winning Guild Master receives the ability to set tax rates on the merchants (NPCs) residing in their corresponding battle zones. Tax rates can be fixed between 4% - 20%, with 4% set as the default rate. These rates will be fixed for the remainder of the week until the next battle commences. Champion's Armor is awarded to the winning guild, however, this is only provided to the members that participated in the battle.

Minor Township Battle:
The Minor Township Battles are broken up into Regular and Anonymous battles, each of these have varying rules depending on the days. These are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Registration Period - Open registration until 9AM PDT on the day of the battle.

Friday Minor Township Battle (Anonymous):

Winning guilds from the Saturday Major Battle are not eligible to register. After the battle commences, opposing players' character names and guild names will remain anonymous.
Rewards - Costume awarded to winning guild's participating members.

Observing Battles:
Along with participating in battles, players can select to observe the battles underway. To observe a battle, a ticket must be purchased from the Township Battle Mediator for the battlefield you wish to observe. After the ticket is purchased, players will have to walk to the Township Battlefield Gatekeeper outside of town to enter as an observer (can be seen on the map of the region). Once in the battle observers will be invisible, all chat functions will be disabled, skills are disabled including using pets, mounts, kiosks, and Hit List functions, observers are immune to attacks and are unable to attack, movement speed for observers will be increased to 3x normal movement speed.

Requirements - Members of a guild that are currently participating in the battles are unable to observe battles. Only players without a guild, and members of guilds that are not currently participating in the battle can observe.

Victory Conditions:
Winners are determined by points accumulated during the battles. These points can be acquired from the following methods:

Hold Base Occupation Points:
Points are awarded every minute a guild maintains a holdbase under their control.

Bonus Guild Points:
Combined bonus points are awarded based on Kill Bonus and Holdbase Bonus when the battle finishes (this is the total bonus point number from the two bonuses listed below).

Kill Bonus:
2 Bonus points are awarded for killing opposing guild members.

Holdbase Bonus:
Bonus points are awarded each time holdbase is captured by a guild. These points will vary depending on the type of holdbase occupied.
